Nevada Coin and Jewelry has been selling bullion in Las Vegas for over 10 years. We offer a wide array of gold and silver bullion products including bars and coins ranging from 1 gram to 5 troy ounces (ozt). Available in our stores are gold coins from most major national mints including American Eagles, Buffalo, South African Krugerrand, Canadian Maple Leaf, Austrian philharmonic, Mexican Peso and Chinese Panda. The American Silver Eagle and Canadian Silver Maple Leaf are two of the most popular silver products we sell. Silver bars and coins come in a variety of sizes in shapes allowing the buyer to fit a variety of investment strategies. We stock 1, 5, 10 and 100 oz bars, silver rounds and minted coins from many countries including America, Canada, Austria and Britain. Bullion and coins stamped with weight and purity are preferred by both buyers and sellers.

How to Buy Bullion

To buy Bullion from Nevada Coin and Jewelry is a very simple process. For the first time buyers one of our expert staff will work with you to identify which product best fits your goals. We will ask question pertaining to your investment horizon. Do you have a plan for storing the bullion? Your preference for public verse private mint products? What is your overall investment goals? We will then present the best products that will help you achieve your goal. We do not accept credit cards. Check purchases are subject to a 14-day waiting period. Cash is preferred to expedite the buying and selling process as well as to protect the buyer’s privacy.

Be Aware of Fake Bullion

There are many choices when looking for places to buy your bullion. You want to go where you are secure that you will be treated fairly and are confident your bullion purchased is authentic. Like many valuable or collectable items, counterfeits are a constant threat to both buyers and sellers. Nevada Coin & Jewelry uses the latest technology to verify its’ bullion. We use an X-Ray Spectrometer to test the purity of our bullion. We also use a form of Nondestructive Testing (NDT) which relies on electromagnetic sensors to pick up the unique signature of precious metals in many forms including minted coins, blanks and bullion. New and more reliable technologies emerge over time, and we constantly look for new ways to protect our customers and ourselves from counterfeit coins and bullion.

While vacationing in Las Vegas I did what a lot of people do I’m sure or at least that’s what I’m telling my wife ..I blew through the money I brought a little quicker than expected and I ended up having to shop my Rolex around to several dealers to save the trip. So I looked online for places, most offers over the phone were low and that’s if they would even quote me in the first place. I spoke to a guy at Nevada Coin and Jewelry who gave me a fair ball park price and a reasonable explanation as to why his number couldn’t be solid. Went down expecting to get the lower number and in fact Robert their Rolex expert said my Rolex was a better model then I had described. He paid me a higher number than he quoted. Been living in Vegas for many years and never had to sell or hock any of my items unfortunately as luck would have it that day did eventually find me and let me tell you is it a tough racket to find a decent place out here to do business with. Pawn shops are a joke and could care less about their customers and treated me like another number. Tried and tried and place after place the numbers where all over the place. Finally decided to go to these guys and I’m glad I did. They tested each piece of my jewelry right in from of me with some kind of xray machine. They explained how they calculated the price and paid me cash on the spot. Avery was very helpful and didn’t mind answering my questions and explaining what they do. I brought them some gold pendants, rings and a few other pieces. I knew they weren’t worth that much but I needed the cash. The guys (and there are a lot of them) were really nice and not the least bit condescending. They know when you come in to sell there is a reason but they don’t make you feel bad or inadequate. The store is filled with interesting objects for sale and for show. A very nice and very fair place to buy and sell. I highly recommend them.

The staff are quick at work but not too quick to make you feel pressured into buying items or selling your items. They teach you about the items and tell you if they have use for your items or not. If they don’t have use for your items they call other places to see if they have a use for the items. Great staff!

They are professional, courteous and trustworthy. Before visiting their premises I got a tentative appraisal by phone which I found reasonable. In the shop the attendant offered to approach the manager to get me a (gasp) BETTER price. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother talking to their rude and unprofessional competitors. Really cool cats over at Nevada Coin and Jewelry. You would’ve thought that I was “Madonna” the way those guys treated me. I was so mesmerized by all of the antiques, they have in there, I believe I was there for two hours, just looking, unbelieveable! When I went in I was so hot, they offered me a cold bottle of water, how cool is that? It felt like home to me. My Aunt recently passed and she lived in the outskirts of Las Vegas. While my sister and I went through her estate we found a number of items that neither of us considered keeping, but our aunt was clear in her will that she wanted us to use her things to make a profit and in turn use that money to help our futures. We shopped around, especially not being from the area, and got a lot of negative experiences just on the phone. People were rude, uninformative, and really just gave us a feeling they wanted to rip us off. It made us think of those dirty pawn shops you “hear about”. Of course, they did explain the importance of actually coming in and examining the pieces individually. That level of service over the phone got us through the door. When we went to the spot we were greeted with the same level courtesy, but the professionalism when going over each item and it’s value was through the roof! They took the time to explain why each item was worth what amount and even gave us a little bit of history on the styles.
