Foreign World Coin Values

For thousands of years, nations from every corner of the globe have minted coins. And with each new political shift came new leaders to adorn those coins, leaving the collectible coin market saturated with millions upon millions of varieties of foreign coins. Foreign world coin values can often be a difficult world to navigate for this reason, as well as for the following reason: since as long as coins have been minted there has been an abundance of counterfeit coins to match. Foreign world coin values really have to start with precious metal content. For many years, foreign nations, as well as the United States, have ceased adding any precious metal to coins, especially leaving the foreign world coin values at a scarce minimum. The United States has always been a bear market when it comes to foreign world coin values and especially with foreign coins made of base metals. Most dealers put the foreign world coin values at a per pound basis, meaning that any foreign coin that is not exchangeable and that doesn’t have any precious metal in it, is put into a bin and weighed with other, similar coins to determine the foreign world coin values.

Foreign world coin values can also be heavily reliant upon the volatility of the exchange markets. If certain coins are from countries that the United States recognizes as exchangeable, within the foreign exchange policies of our government, then those foreign world coin values could be much more significant compared to the otherwise outmoded base metal coins or coins from countries with United Nations or United States trade sanctions. The foreign world coin values then would have to be calculated based on international currency conversion charts, at which point a proper number can be attributed to the foreign world coin values.

To easily evaluate your foreign world coin values, just bring your coins in to any of the Nevada Coin & Jewelry locations serving the Las Vegas valley. Las Vegas is an international travel hub and destination point, so our highly respected staff is very knowledgeable in the foreign coin and currency markets. We can quickly identify those foreign coins and currency and will be able to accurately determine the foreign world coin values for each.

Great family run store. I’m well taken care of every time I show up at this location. Thank you Nick.

After visiting a couple of the “traveling gold & silver merchants” who came to Mesquite, I made a call to Nevada Coin & Jewelry in Las Vegas… David was very helpful and professional. Their prices were the best I had seen… I left very satisfied with my trip and the deals we made. I will definitely go there again.

I brought them some gold pendants, rings and a few other pieces. I knew they weren’t worth that much but I needed the cash. The guys (and there are a lot of them) were really nice and not the least bit condescending. They know when you come in to sell there is a reason but they don’t make you feel bad or inadequate. The store is filled with interesting objects for sale and for show. A very nice and very fair place to buy and sell. I highly recommend them.

Always a good experience here! Definitely the place in town I enjoy buying coins from, and I’d recommend them to anybody. Helpful staff, reasonable prices, and wide selection.

They took the time to help me sell my item and find an item. The staff does not rush you or pressure you into buying something. They take you on a little adventure by telling you about the items you are selling and looking at…

This past Saturday I had the opportunity to meet the owner and team at Nevada Coin and Jewelry. I didn’t know what to expect but they made me feel both comfortable and safe. I went through my collection of jewelry, both broken pieces and things I thought were of no value at all. They took the time to explain what each carat weight was worth and they helped me sort through my items. I was amazed at what they gave me for things I would never wear or use. I would recommend you stop in and speak to them, you might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

I am a brazilian and had the chance to deal with Nevada Coin. I was there to sell some gold coins and they paid me the best price I could fetch in Las Vegas. They are professional, courteous and trustworthy. Before visiting their premises I got a tentative appraisal by phone which I found reasonable. In the shop the attendant offered to approach the manager to get me a (gasp) BETTER price. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother talking to their rude and unprofessional competitors. They will treat you like a moron and quote prices accordingly. For Nevada Coin, five Stars all the way.

Wonderful experience, Nick and Laura made it seamless and stress free. Thank you! They also sell super cool items!!

The staff are quick at work but not too quick to make you feel pressured into buying items or selling your items. They teach you about the items and tell you if they have use for your items or not. If they don’t have use for your items they call other places to see if they have a use for the items. Great staff!

My friend and I came here to sell some coins and jewelry. We first saw Scott about some coins. He was very friendly and knew his stuff. Afterwards, he brought us over to Sheila who looked at our jewelry. She was also very nice and professional. We will definitely come back here again. GREAT PLACE!!!!
