Las Vegas Jewelry Buyers

Las Vegas jewelry buyers buy gold jewelry consisting of broken chains, old class rings, dental scrap and the list can keep going. Las Vegas jewelry buyers are very sophisticated in the way they test old gold jewelry. In the old days many Las Vegas jewelry buyers tested gold by doing what’s called acid testing. Acid testing can only give the jewelry buyer a round about idea of the gold percentage of the item in question. With the modern day tools of the Las Vegas jewelry buyer they now use a very sophisticated tool called the X-ray Spectrometer. The X-ray Spectrometer is the most current and advanced way of testing gold items that only the most sophisticated Las Vegas Jewelry buyers have.

Acid tests are limited to 10kt, 14kt, 18kt and 22kt. So if you where to bring in a custom gold ring that is stamped 14kt which means it should be 58.3% pure and in reality it is only 52% pure. The old way of acid testing would reflect that the ring has to be 10kt not 14kt due to the fact that there are no in between acid tests to show that the ring is just under karat. That’s almost a 10% difference to your bottom line.

When you deal with the most advanced Las Vegas jewelry buyers you’re paid for the percent of gold in your item. So in the example above you’re paid for 52% and not 41.7% which is what the acid testing group would pay you for your gold ring that is under karat. Scrap jewelry is can be any gold item that has no resell value due to items condition in present state. Scrap jewelry can also be jewelry that is no longer in fashion or not in high demand from the public. Scrap jewelry can be made up of any precious metal such as gold, silver, platinum and rarely palladium. There are many Las Vegas Jewelry buyers but only few who have stood the test of time in there business. When researching Las Vegas jewelry buyers this is an important thing to consider. Make sure the Las Vegas jewelry buyer you’re interested in doing business with is a member of the BBB and has a+ rating with no open or closed complaints.

Check reviews on the Las Vegas jewelry buyer you’re interested in doing business with. Checking reviews on a Las Vegas jewelry buyer is a great way to get a prior client’s point of view on how there transaction went and if they would do business there again.

I am a brazilian and had the chance to deal with Nevada Coin. I was there to sell some gold coins and they paid me the best price I could fetch in Las Vegas. They are professional, courteous and trustworthy. Before visiting their premises I got a tentative appraisal by phone which I found reasonable. In the shop the attendant offered to approach the manager to get me a (gasp) BETTER price. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother talking to their rude and unprofessional competitors. They will treat you like a moron and quote prices accordingly. For Nevada Coin, five Stars all the way.

They took the time to help me sell my item and find an item. The staff does not rush you or pressure you into buying something. They take you on a little adventure by telling you about the items you are selling and looking at…

After visiting a couple of the “traveling gold & silver merchants” who came to Mesquite, I made a call to Nevada Coin & Jewelry in Las Vegas… David was very helpful and professional. Their prices were the best I had seen… I left very satisfied with my trip and the deals we made. I will definitely go there again.

Been living in Vegas for many years and never had to sell or hock any of my items unfortunately as luck would have it that day did eventually find me and let me tell you is it a tough racket to find a decent place out here to do business with. Pawn shops are a joke and could care less about their customers and treated me like another number. Tried and tried and place after place the numbers where all over the place. Finally decided to go to these guys and I’m glad I did. They tested each piece of my jewelry right in from of me with some kind of xray machine. They explained how they calculated the price and paid me cash on the spot. Avery was very helpful and didn’t mind answering my questions and explaining what they do. I left feeling I got the best price for my items. I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell their jewelry.

Really cool cats over at Nevada Coin and Jewelry. You would’ve thought that I was “Madonna” the way those guys treated me. I was so mesmerized by all of the antiques, they have in there, I believe I was there for two hours, just looking, unbelieveable! When I went in I was so hot, they offered me a cold bottle of water, how cool is that? It felt like home to me. I wanted to get a price for some old jewelry that was passed down by grandma, I was well satisfied. When I left the shop, I was singing “Money, Money, Money.

What inspired me to go to NV Coin and Jewelry was I was an ad on the TV for the shop. I was not too sure about going to NV Coin and Jewelry to sell my jewelry because I have been to many other pawn shops but haven’t found a good deal for my jewelry. After I went to Nevada Coin and Jewelry it was a big relief for me selling my jewelry for a good price.

This past Saturday I had the opportunity to meet the owner and team at Nevada Coin and Jewelry. I didn’t know what to expect but they made me feel both comfortable and safe. I went through my collection of jewelry, both broken pieces and things I thought were of no value at all. They took the time to explain what each carat weight was worth and they helped me sort through my items. I was amazed at what they gave me for things I would never wear or use. I would recommend you stop in and speak to them, you might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

As a first timer in selling, I was a bit apprehensive. I did not know what to expect and was a little worried about a previous reviewers comments. Yes the office was stark and clinical. The staff however, more than made up for any downfall in the decor. Very helpful, polite and understanding to any ‘silly’ questions that were asked. All in all a pleasant experience, and one that should the opportunity arise I would go through again!

A great selection of coins and other numismatic related material. Very professional.

Professional, friendly staff. Knowledgeable and fair. An interesting experience and would definitely visit again.

Grateful for the Nevada Coin and Jewelry shop, I just adore it. I took some collectable figurines in and they bought them. I came out smelling like a rose. You should’ve been there to see the big smile on my face. I ran all the way home to look for some more. Can’t wait to get back! I can sure use the money!
